Type 1 Engine Inventory
Type 1 fire engines are used primarily for structural firefighting and initial Emergency Medical Service (EMS) response. They are equipped with a variety of firefighting hose lines, nozzles and large diameter supply hose. Type 1 engines carry a wide assortment of tools and equipment including air lift bags, extension and roof ladders, a generator with cords and lights, a ventilation blower, cribbing supplies, and Class B foam. Type 1 engines also carry a complete Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipment compliment including 12-lead ECG.
Type 3 Engine Inventory
Type 3 fire engines are used for off-road wildland firefighting. They are equipped with a variety of firefighting hose lines, tools and supplies. Type 3 engines carry a wide assortment of equipment including driptorches, backpack and floating pumps, and Class A foam. Type 3 engines also carry a complete Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipment compliment.
Truck Inventory
Trucks are designed and deployed to provide a continuous route from an elevated position to the ground via a 100' turntable-mounted ladder. They are also capable of discharging water from an elevated position. Trucks are equipped to support fire fighting and rescue operations and carry Hurst tools, ground ladders, specialized saws, rescue ropes and harnesses, and cutting torches. Trucks also carry a complete Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipment compliment.
