The San Ramon Valley Emergency Preparedness Citizen Corps Council provides extensive training opportunities that will provide you and your family or business with the skills needed to prepare and respond during an emergency of any size.
Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP)
We live in earthquake country. There is nothing we can do to stop an earthquake - but we can get prepared! Join with fellow community members at these free classes geared to help you and your family prepare before an earthquake, survive during the quake and recover quickly after the disaster.
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
The Fire District is well prepared to handle everyday emergencies. However, during a disaster, the number and scope of incidents will likely far exceed its ability to provide effective emergency services. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is centered around an all-risk, all-hazard training course. This valuable course is designed to help you protect yourself, your family, your neighbors and your neighborhood in an emergency situation.
CPR & AED
The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District offers American Heart Association (AHA) certified and non-certified CPR training programs. These courses teach the basic techniques of adult, child and infant CPR and also introduce students to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
