Director Matt Stamey has been a member of the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Board since 2009. Director Stamey has served as President and Vice President, and on various subcommittees.
Director Stamey is a retired business management executive with 30 years’ experience developing, negotiating, and managing national contracts with Fortune 500 corporations with an additional emphasis on organization development and P/L responsibility for operational success.
Matt is a graduate of Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business (BS, Management). Matt has post graduate studies of Advanced Management from the University of Chicago and has completed various courses of advanced leadership training from Carew International.
Notably, Director Stamey is:
- Director and President of Stamey Management Group, an Arizona corporation focusing onagriculture, real estate and equity investments;
- Chairman of the Board for the PulsePoint Foundation, a non-profit foundation dedicated to the distribution & maintenance of the smart phone app designed for saving lives of cardiac arrest victims;
- A charter member of the Dougherty Valley/San Ramon Rotary Club and has served as event Chair for the Charter Dinner;
- A founding member of the Dougherty Valley/San Ramon Rotary Foundation, a non-profit organization, serving as its first Treasurer;
- Involved with the Danville area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership San Ramon;
- A graduate of Leadership San Ramon, Class of 2010-2011; and
- A former Board member of the 100 Club of Contra Costa, an organization dedicated to providing assistance for the families of fallen peace officers and firefighters who are killed in the line of duty, serving on the Finance Committee.
