The Board of Directors jointly govern the District and is comprised of five members of the local community, elected at-large, each serving a staggered four-year term. The Board provides financial oversight and strategic policy direction to maximize the public value of District services.
The Board receives an appropriate level of compensation, benefits, expense reimbursement and equipment commensurate with the workload and effective administration of the District and in furtherance of the District’s business according to District policy and procedures. Board members receive compensation of $105 for each District regular or special Board meeting attended, not to exceed four meetings per month, and are eligible to participate in District health plans.
