DANVILLE, CA - San Ramon Valley Firefighters took part in the "Every 15 Minutes" Program at San Ramon Valley High School on Tuesday, April 16. Crews from Station 31 in Danville responded to a mock car accident involving students who had been driving under the influence. Crews freed one passenger using the "jaws of life", transported a second victim in a District ambulance and called for CALSTAR to transport a third patient via air ambulance. The Every 15 Minutes program aims to increase awareness around the dangers of driving while impaired. Students watch the dramatic scene play out right in front of their eyes. San Ramon Valley Fire is proud to support this important initiative.
